Overview
Webcams.com is, relatively speaking, one of the newcomers in adult video chat, having relaunched a few years ago, and more recently, underwent a minor redesign. The site is known for it's "amateur" look and feel, however, it is technically-speaking anything but second-rate. The video chat interface is one of the better ones we've seen, very easy to use, plenty of features and depending on the host's setup, good video quality.
One feature worth mentioning, because it's good and bad, is that Premium Chat (or as they call it, "XXX Chat") is not necessarily one-on-one. Other members can join the chat at any time. Many sites do the same, however, since very few members know you can send private messages (see Other Features below for how to send PMs), you end up seeing what everyone else writes!
However, as with most sites, the hosts typically give priority (and attention) to the first guest in his/her room. So it's better to respect other members and start a Premium chat instead of joining one.

Webcams.com has chat hosts in most popular categories, however, you'll find the majority of women are European or Asian and quite a few transsexuals. There are fewer fetish hosts and noticably less male/couple performers than some competitor sites.
From the home page click the Search Models link (just above the first row of online performers photos) to see a list of categories and how many performers are online in each. Below that is a very good search feature, allowing you to search by name, age, ratings and so on.

We're not 100% on this, but every chat host we've seen charges $2.99/minute for Premium sessions. There are no discounts for longer shows nor any voyeur options. As mentioned above, you can join a "XXX Chat" session in progress and have full chat access - a nice thing, unless you were the first guest in and want to be alone!

You can purchase credits in blocks of $30, $50, $75 or $100 with the last 3 giving you bonus credits (10, 25 and 35) respectively. Purchases can be made with a wide range of credit cards including Visa and Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Switcha and Solo.
They do also have an option to use per-minute billing instead of buying site credit. Unfortunately, we don't know how this works or how to opt for this so you'd have to contact their Customer Support to find out. |
