Overview
CamContacts.com is considered a community video chat site which means that it attempts to make the site more about interaction between hosts and clients, and in some ways bridge the gap. It offers things like discussion forums and an open (and free) text chat to drive the point home. In the end, however, the real appeal is the performers and the "sex shows".
The site may have fewer hosts than some of their competitors, with typically 400-500 hosts online at a time, but they offer a good variety in all the major categories, and a few unique ones. So it's likely you will find what you're looking for here, somewhere.
The big positives I like about CamContacts are, for one, that their private chats (called One2One sessions) are truly private - no one else can enter the chat, as a voyeur or otherwise. A very nice feature few sites offer these days. As well, in group chats you can talk privately to the host - again, another simple feature many sites lack.
Another big plus is that a large number of hosts here are home-based and not in cramped, impersonal studios. And for those of us who have experience chatting on these sites, you'll know how much of a difference that can make!
Lastly, you will find the rates are generally lower than for other comparable sites and many hosts that work several sites are cheaper here. Shh, it's our little secret...
Overall, a nice, clean site with good performers, a community feel, very easy to use, relatively inexpensive and, with a recent upgrade, the chat software is quite good offering nice features and options, even for cam2cam which is rare.

While they offer the usual Girl Alone, Fetishes, Couples, Group, etc. they also offer a few unique ones including Escorts & Massage (though they are not actual real-life escorts nor masseuses), Softcore categories (limited or no nudity), Making Friends and even Long Term/Marriage. The latter two do not offer nudity, and yes they are strict about it! |

Given there are several types of chat, from Open (basically Group chat) to One2One (completely private), and performers set their own rates, you'll find the per-minute cost varies substantially. I've seen some hosts for as little as $0.50/minute for Open to over $4.00/minute for One2One. |

CamContacts is the only site I know of that once your credit card is approved, time spent in paid chats is automatically deducted. Good that you don't have to keep buying credits, but bad in that you can quickly find your bill going through the roof if you're not careful!
Although this may sound tricky, in fact, they do email you every time you reach a certain amount - I believe in the $35-$40 range - so that you get an invoice very quickly after any time spent in chat rooms. They are also quick to act on refunding charges for tech issues or other problems.
